In the early years, Frank’s dedication to his craft and his community set us apart. By 1915, his wife Jenny had joined the business, managing dispatch and ensuring smooth operations. Our company quickly became known for taking on challenging tasks, like transporting lumber from the sawmills of False Creek to burgeoning settlements. These early successes laid the groundwork for our reputation as problem solvers and reliable movers.

As the decades passed, Salmon’s continued to innovate and expand. The post-World War II era brought significant growth under the leadership of Frank Jr., who steered the company through an era of economic boom and expanding horizons. By joining forces with Atlas Van Lines in 1972, we broadened our services and reach, establishing ourselves as a leader in residential and commercial relocations.

Our journey didn’t stop there. For forty years, we thrived as an Employee-Owned company, led by Doug Kellough. During this time, we became the go-to movers for pianos, offices, and long-distance transfers, trusted by countless families and businesses. In 2018, entrepreneur Mark Hirschi took the helm, ushering in a new era of innovation. Under his guidance, we launched our International and Restoration Divisions, enhancing our ability to serve diverse and specialized moving needs.
